The Passaic Chanukah 5K Race and 1 Mile Kids Fun Run is an event to promote healthy living, exercise and running/walking in the greater Passaic and Clifton community as well as to provide an opportunity for fun and friendly competition by offering a 5K race (PR course!) for men, women and children.  Especially important is the opportunity for the youth to engage in the 1 Mile Kids Fun Run to introduce them to the importance of a healthy lifestyle, running and walking and to allow the community to join together for a good cause and to have fun.  Refreshments, medals and prizes (to top 3 overall in 1 mile and 5k as well as age group top 3) included.  Lastly, everyone gets a great race shirt!  And all the funds go towards organizations (Bikur Cholim of Passaic Clifton, Congregation Adas Israel and Chabad of Passaic Clifton) that are local and that help everyone from the young to the elderly.
