Join us for Township’s 3rd Annual Family “Spring into Wellness 5K Run/Walk & Health Fair” taking place on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025.  The 5K Run/Walk will kick off at 9am on Woodfield Ave and participants will traverse the tree-lined streets with views of Schlegel Lake. Following the race, we will have a medals ceremony. The Health Fair will take place starting at 8am at Bethany Community Center. The event is rain or shine. Portions of the proceeds will go towards scholarship awards to local graduating high school seniors entering a health-related field. 

NEW THIS YEAR!! This year's event has partnered with the De Novo Harriers Running Club to offer a Beginners to Finishers 5K (B2F5K) development program for any participant interested in running their first 5K. Participants will learn to run a 5K and graduate by running Township of Washington's Spring into Wellness 5K on Saturday, May 3, 2025.

This fee-based eight-week program was developed and is led by USATF and RRCA certified coaches and is open to runners of all ages and abilities. Each participant in the B2F5k program receives eight weeks of coaching, race entry to the “Spring to Wellness 5K" graduation race, a program tee shirt, and membership in the Harriers for the remainder of the year.
