Colts Neck High School’s For the Children is hosting a color run, Chase the Rainbow Color Run 5k, on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at Bucks Mill Park in Colts Neck, New Jersey.
In the Country of Belize, where our club recently traveled to learn about the environment and did a beach cleanup, we learned that High School is not free for studens to attend. The organization is raising money to create 2 scholarships that allow 1 boy and 1 girl to have the opportunity to go to school and help their community better themselves for future generations. All proceeds from the Color Run will be donated to the CNHS For The Children Belize Scholarship program.
The course is 5K in distance and is an approved course. The terreain is primarily grass fields with occasional dirt/road and trails. There will be 3 color stations along the way, as well as a water station at about the mid point. A timer will be displayed at the finish line for those wanting to keep track of their times.
