Proceeds from the race will benefit Aslan Youth a non-profit 501 C3 serving families in NJ.  For many years Aslan Youth Ministries has received support from runners and walkers in support of our service to the children in Monmouth County, NJ. We help some of the most marginalized families who have endured the challenges of poverty and trauma. We help children from kindergarten through high school, all of whom start in our programs below grade level. For many reasons, including lack of support at home, difficult behavioral issues, and low school performance, our children don’t have the opportunity to participate in many afterschool programs.  Our approach of love and consistency has helped thousands of children over the years. We not only provide door-to-door service (to ensure children are able to attend our programs and reach home safely), but we also provide one-on-one mentoring and tutoring that ensures lasting change.
