The Firecracker 4 mile road race is the Cranford Jaycees principal fundraining event to benefit the Cranford Jaycees Scholarship award. The fund awards scholarships every year to high school seniors residing in the Township of Cranford who have demonstrated scholastic achievement and a commitment to community service. The scholarship fund supports students who are looking to move on to thrid level education and we also have an additional scolarship program to assist student who want to go to trade schools or begin an apprenticeship.

If you would be interested to make an additional donation to the Jaycees Scholarship fund, you can do so as part of the race registration process. Any additional donation you chosse to make is very much appreciated.
